Last week was quite a week for a two-month-old! Hayden's Gran was up for a visit from Cheyenne, so there was much loving and cuddling going on. He also had his two-month checkup and weigh-in on Thursday. The verdict? A healthy normal baby who weighs a whopping
9 pounds, 14 ounces!!! By now, he's undoubtedly over 10 pounds, and we're all resting a little easier. Hayden also met his two older brothers this weekend, as Brandon was getting married in Denver. Other firsts this week: first elevator ride, first stay at a cushy hotel, first experience driving in city traffic in a torrential downpour on I-25. Plus, we stopped in Laramie on the way home, where he got to meet our old friend Lois, and his niece and nephew (that's
Uncle Hayden to you!),
and where he got to experience the best first of all...dinner at Jeffrey's, Mom and Dad's favorite restaurant from the old days. Mmm, Thai Burrito... Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of the road trip!

Holy moly! He's huge! I'd swear you must have traded him in on a cabbage patch baby! Great job Mom!
love you and we're so sad we missed the week. Who said the volcano could go off that night and shut down the entire state from flying?! I guess that's living in Alaska.
