Gifts

We received some wonderful things in the mail this week! First, a beautiful baby journal from Amy, sent all the way from Alaska. It's written and illustrated by an Olympia, Washington, artist and is such a lovely piece I ordered one for a friend who just had a baby. A fantastic alternative to traditional baby books.

And yesterday a package arrived from Jim and Sheryl, our friends in Minnesota (also new parents). It contained a gorgeous blanket from Sheryl's mom and dad (Thank you Sandy and Elden!) and a mobile that Sheryl made from driftwood and rocks collected from the shore of Lake Superior.

We are a lucky little family, indeed.
