The Day After

Aside from the curmudgeons across the street, we may be the only family in Lander who had a quiet Fourth of July. Somehow, despite the constant barrage of fireworks that started in our neighborhood well before 10 AM and lasted till just past midnight, Hayden spent most of the day snoozing (dreaming of baby ninja moves?), apparently unfazed by the celebration. That, combined with the blessing of a deaf dog, made for a fairly mellow holiday around here. Maybe next year we'll get brave and venture out to the parade.

Meanwhile, here's what my sister's fam was up to yesterday.... http://www.ktuu.com/Global/story.asp?S=8622316 Yep. Kayaking alpacas. Only my brother-in-law, and only in Alaska! :)

PS: Hayden's up to 5 1/2 pounds. He's chunking right up!
