Hayden Says: Know What's Funny About Safety?
Nothing!We just got a new-to-us bike trailer and with it a helmet for the baby. Now we can ride in style like the truly hip family that we are. He's still deciding what he thinks about it all. The helmet seems a little heavy for him...I looked back on our first ride to discover him slumped over to one side. But happy enough, apparently: even though the helmet was covering his eyes he was still playing merrily with the little Matchbox car he found in one of the trailer's pockets. Side note: The weird little chickens on the helmet were the better choice than the aviator wolves and pigs, who were snarly and apparently ready for serious warfare. Why is everything made for little boys so aggro? For the record, I don't approve.

FOR REAL - that is one hip/cool/attractive family. Everyone just needs plastic rimmed glasses and you could be "hipster".
The Helmets look great.
On the safety side note: One of my co-workers died when he was skateboarding without a helmet (he was a VERY skilled skater and in his 40's - one time he decided not to wear his head protectin is when he fell and hit his head) He was in a coma for two days and then went brain dead - this was while he was on vacation.
Helmets are smart!

What is with that giant Megalopyge opercularis stuck to his upper lip? Hayden is so adorable, but I'm surprised he isn't scared to death of that thing!
I was talking about Tim's lip too by the way not Hayden's....
