And Now, For the Latest Brilliant Baby Tricks...

*Clapping
*Waving hello and goodbye
*Pat-a-cake
*Pointing out Mama's nose, Daddy's nose, the dog's nose, the monkey's nose (Got a nose? Hayden will find it.)
*Pointing to every light in the house and (get this!) making the sign for "light"
*Correctly picking the horse and cow out of the farmyard lineup (and pointing to their noses!)
*Giving Mama a kiss (open-mouthed, wet, slobbery, fantastic)

Do we have any pictures or video of these amazing baby feats? (Oh. That reminds me: He can point to his feet! And his toes! And Mama's toes!) Nope, no pictures. Instead, we offer these post-bath pics, taken when we realized that although he's had a bath nearly every evening since he was a month old, we had zero pictures of him in his cute hoody bath towel. Oh, that reminds me. We can't say the word "bath" outright anymore unless it's actually time for one, so we sometimes have to spell it out. Yikes. He's already on to us.

Man oh man is that a cute baby! Good pickin' from the Baby Store! Bet he wasn't cheap. Mine has spent the day considering what it means to be "sold to the gypsies". He doesn't believe me. (:

HIS brilliant trick of the day is finishing not one but TWO chapter books. He's eating them right up. He's going to have to get a job to keep going to the bookstore. I do wish our local library was a bit better stocked.
We miss you!!!

Those are the most adorable pictures of a most adorable baby. And so smart. Look out mom and dad, it's tough to stay ahead of a smart kid! Gran loves Hayden!
