New (Old) Toys...

Spring has arrived in Wyoming! We can tell by the three blizzards that hit town last week. (Thanks again for shoveling, Tim.) Needless to say, Baby H. and I have been spending a lot of time in the house. A lot. But we're making do. He likes to inspect our domino set. And last week I found my old Cabbage Patch Kid (Edna Malina, circa 1984), and Hayden's been loving her. He especially likes to point to her nose (he also does this with Daddy and Mommy). Then this morning I noticed him eyeing my 32-year-old stuffed Curious George, who lives on a high dusty shelf. I took down the monkey, tried to blow the dust off of him, and handed him over. Success. Notice Hayden pointing not just to George's nose, but also to his eyes. Have we mentioned that we think our baby might be a genius? :)

I left a comment earlier but maybe I forgot to click "publish". Oh, Gran. Anyway it's fun to see Edna Malina and Curious George again and to see Hayden playing with them. How cool he knows nose and eyes now. He's too much. See you next weekend if the weather is good. We've got a blizzard going on here today, 5" snow and a lot of wind! Hope my shoveler comes along soon. Love, Gran
