The Big Kid

Hayden woke up from a nap last week and announced, when we took him out of his crib, "I'm ready for a big boy bed." Well, all right then. He's been sleeping on a mattress on the floor ever since (and will until Daddy gets a chance to build just-the-right bed), and loves it. The fact that it functions as a whole new play area is just an added bonus!
