Jackson, Yo
We headed over Togwotee Pass again this weekend, this time to celebrate Hayden's good buddy Dylan's second birthday. (Two? Seriously? You've never experienced a time warp until you or your loved ones have had children. Gadzooks.) No failed snowshoeing attempts this time, no skiing, and sadly no fantastic pictures of the friends celebrating together. Instead, here are a few last-minute shots (Oh! Right! The camera!) of 1) the guys outside our complimentary digs at the Teton Science School (courtesy of Matt—woot!); 2) a very bundled Hayden in front of the famous antler arches in downtown Jackson; and 3) a slightly terrified Hayden in Teton Park, where we stopped at a pullout for a "closer" (as in, "Where, exactly? That black spot over there?") look at a cow moose bedded down for a midday snooze. Penultimate photo: definitely frightened, too much so even to pee in the snow. Last photo: Sandwiched between Mom and Dad and still keeping a keen eye on that menacing ungulate. Aww. Our little naturalist. Happy nearly-end-of-February, all!

Hayden little beautiful nephew...not to worry about those ruminants; they've got no upper incisors! You're safe as punch!
Listen to Auntie. She knows of what she speaks! Hayden, you just keep getting cuter and cuter. I can hardly stand it!!!!
That close up face picture is beautiful, makes me just want to squeeze, squeeze, squeeze him!
