Plan B
Well, this post was going to be about how we went to Yellowstone for my birthday. There were going to be stories of glimpsing wolves and bears, of hearing elk bugle, of watching the mist and steam rise from the hot springs in the chill of an autumn morning. There were to be pictures of the gold aspens and the red willows, as well an apple-cheeked baby on his first big hike, and in front of Old Faithful, and posed adorably in the eponymous Hayden Valley. It was going to be great.
But this ain't no New England October.

Instead, there will be shoveling.
And napping.

And maybe even curling up with some knitting and two early presents.

Definitely not Yellowstone. But not so bad, I guess. At least I know where the candy corn stash is...

Yay! I'm not the only one with early snow-laden non-plans!! (Ooops, sorry, that's not very cordial huh?)
