U-Pick
I got a tip at knit night on Monday that the pick-your-own raspberry farm was still producing loads of good berries, so Hayden and I headed out this morning, pails in hand.
What could be better, right? Tractors galore. Acres of dirt for driving small trucks in. A bazillion ripe raspberries to devour fresh from the bush. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Well, the small child who was 1) maybe not feeling 100%; 2) easily spooked by grasshoppers; and 3) not thrilled to give "his" pail over to the cause, had plenty of thoughts on what might be better. Oh well. Win some, lose some and all that. But at least now we've got berries in the freezer.

You can't win 'em all mom. Nice try though and he'll like those raspberries this winter I bet.
