The Maine Adventure, Post One: Water

We're back! And after thirty hours of travel so happy to be home. Hayden is presently lying on the living room floor playing with all the toys—and the daddy!—he's missed for the last two weeks. We had such a wonderful visit, it's hard to know where to begin. The weather was mostly spectacular, and we got to spend lots of time with some of our favorite people on the planet. Hayden got to play on the farm, go for his first paddle, take a few rides on the tractor, have some early birthday cake, and try his hand at holding his very own ice cream cone. Turns out there's also lots of water in Maine, so I thought I'd begin our vacation report with a handful of shots on that theme. The leaves are finally coming out here at home and the temps are rising, so we'll soon be seeking out some water around these parts, too!
