Same Snow, Different Day

It's another snowy day here in the middle of Wyoming. Sigh. Winter is all well and good, but it has been snowing since October. This little house on the prairie is feeling very little, indeed.
So, let's look instead at some pictures from the egg hunt at Aunt Polly's house. And what a hunt it was! No other kids (or parents) trying to elbow you aside to get the goods, no blizzard to contend with, and a full crew of helpers saying, "Look over here! Look over here!"

Although Hayden was slow to warm up to actually picking up the eggs, once he realized there were things inside—trucks inside, no less!—he began to get into it. Good thing, too. Because now all those trucks are being driven back and forth on the windowsill as their operator stares (reproachfully) out at the snow.
